most espresso machines come with a plastic tamper. dont think that is good enough.
one of these tampers made a big difference in my shots of espresso; and i highly recoment it. thanks......

Since I'm online looking to purchase another tamper -- to replace this one -- I thought I would write up a quick review.
This is a nice tamper with a convex face and decent weight, but my handle became loose (the acrylic/plastic in the handle is a separate piece and screws on to the metal base. When I turned the handle to tighten it back up, the acrylic stem broke in half, shattering in some places and is unrepairable.
