Product Description
Our hand wrought iron pieces are made for us in the Lancaster County, PA. Amish Community. With classic style and functional design, these versatile pieces blend into most decorating schemes. This is solid iron--not wire. These pieces are finished in satin black and work well in any room. This pie stand will hold 10-12 inch pie plates and fits the basket people's pottery pie plates. The inside ring dimension is 9 1/4 inches. There is 12 inches between the uprights. The picture shows all three sizes of available pie stands. This listing is for the Triple PIE STAND which is 16 1/2 inches wide and 17 1/2 inches to the top.

This pie stand is very nice--it is sturdy and well-made, and it shipped extremely quickly. We got the three-tier stand and used it for our wedding. The design is simple and elegant, and the stand held three Pyrex deep-dish pie pans (plus pies) without any problem. The diameter of the rings is definitely too big for 9" pie dishes, though--it works well for 10" dishes, or dishes with a bit of a rim to make sure they stay in the stand, but I believe it states that in the description. It would probably hold plates for cookies or finger foods during a party, too.

The stand is sturdy and attractive. The listing states that it hold 10-12 inch pie plates, which it does. I just want to clarify for future buyers that it won't hold much else. The welds connecting the rings to the stand are higher than the ring, so any time of dish that would rest on the ring itself will rock back and forth. So, as long as you only want to use 10-12 inch pie plates, this is a great stand. Otherwise, I would recommend purchasing elsewhere. They also have a very strict return policy, which I did not see at first; the link is at the bottom of the listing page.

I have to agree with the comments about the quality of this stand. The wrought iron is sturdy and not wobbly at all. It is simple and beautiful and I love using it. It holds my dinner plates perfectly. I want to give these as gifts - I know they would be used and appreciated. What more can I say - it is exactly what it was represented to be and it's good to have American made in the kitchen.

I would definatly recommend this pie stand. The quality is the best I have seen. It is very sturdy and very nice looking at the same time. You can tell it is a quality piece when you look at it. This is a great buy worth every penny!
