Amazon.com Review Ingeniously designed to store half an onion, tomato, grapefruit--or any other food--in the refrigerator where it won't be lost, these two containers prevent waste and save space. Their arms have hooked ends so they can be hung from the side of a refrigerator shelf flat against the refrigerator's sidewall--out of the way yet immediately visible as a reminder. Because they come with Tupperware's legendary seal--virtually airtight and leak-proof--food inside will remain fresh and flavorful. Seals are hinged to prevent them from being misplaced, and the containers have clear windows to reveal their contents at a glance. One container is Delta Blue, the other Bermuda Green. They measure 4-1/2 inches in diameter and 2-3/4 inches high. Virtually unbreakable and dishwasher-safe, Tupperware carries a lifetime warranty against chipping, cracking, breaking, and peeling. --Fred Brack

Great idea, limited usage August 8, 2003 The Patriot (San Antonio TX) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great idea, but it's design has limited usage. The idea of storing an onion here, is about it's best use, but the flat "hook" means it doesn't hang very well off my shelves. It needs to be curved/notched, or tapering into a full hook to hang between the shelf wires. An awesome invention would be to insert a magnet onto the botton, to stick onto shelves in the unused top space under the wire racks. Because of it's design it sits in the crisper, where I promptly forget about the "forget me not" holder.
how about "squash me not"? April 7, 2003 ringo (California) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Being a good californian, I didn't get these for onions and tomatoes, I got them for hot peppers and kumquats. They work really well for small produce that would otherwise fall to the bottom of the crisper - the current handful of serrano peppers has been in there for almost two months, getting used one at a time, and is almost as fresh as the day it was bought at the farmer's market. The containers are bigger than I expected (about a "C" cup), and do stick out a bit, which takes up headspace on the shelf below where they are hung. The lids also don't seal as perfectly as most tupperware, since the hinge doesn't fold flat (not a dealbreaker, but I wouldn't use these for liquids). I had no problem getting the hooks to work with my tempered glass Whirlpool shelves. If you have a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer I would suggest hanging these on the side *away* from the freezer - the freezer-side fridge wall is colder than the air in the fridge, which will cause condensation on the flat side of the forget-me-not, which eventually will cause mold (probably ok for keeping a grapefruit overnight, but a problem after keeping peppers for a month or so). Overall, these are well worth the money. I'm glad I bought them.
"Forget me Nots" February 1, 2003 Angie Watkins (Milledgeville, GA USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
With the forget me nots they are an item that you diffently can't not have. You will never loose that onion ever again.
Love it and so does my new fridge! July 24, 2002 Eric D. Aemisegger (Garland, Texas USA) This is a great item from Tupperware! It does a great job of saving leftover onions and tomatoes as well as saving space. I have a new fridge and it hangs fine (you should hang it on the side and not on the front). But, even if it doesn't hang on your shelf, it is still a great way to seal up leftovers. A great design and great way to preserve food!
Great product July 17, 2002 Great product for storing and saving space in the fridge. Hangs nicely on the shelf in my fridge (shelf kinda looks like a grill from a bar-b-q).
