This all clad is heavy and sturdy, but not as heavy as cast iron. It is hard to clean in that its size does not fit into my deep sink too well and I end up cleaning portions of it at a time. Having said that, the grill itself cleans easily. I store it in my stove because it won't fit anywhere else.

I bought this large grill a few weeks ago. I've used it several times and absolutely LOVE it!! I followed the directions and let it preheat over medium heat for at least 5 minutes - NOT high heat. I've used it for steak, pork chops and chicken . . . so far. It cooks nice and even and leaves beautiful grill marks. Cleanup is a breeze . . . just wipe with paper towels or even your fingers under running water and give a quick swipe with detergent and water - - rinse and you're done! It easily covers two burners, which is nice if you want to cook two items at different temperatures - or keep one side of the grill hot to flip the steak unto when you turn it over. I store mine right in the oven so it's close at hand. Oh, I almost forgot, I've also grilled green beans and asparagus on it and I think a person could easily do a whole meal. Now I'm off to the freezer so see what I can grill for dinner tonight!! This great-to-cook-on and easy-to-clean grill is fast becoming my new best friend!

Love this grill pan! After trying a Foreman grill for a year and being very unhappy with insipid gray steaks and unevenly cooked chicken, I'm so happy to serve food I can be proud of. My All-Clad pans are so wonderful and this is just the same. Heats up quickly , fits my professional style stovetop, cooks evenly and holds at least twice as much as the Foreman. Clean up is very easy and, as far as cutting the fat, the ridges not only give you those super grill marks but hold you food out of the melted fat. You won't be disappointed.

I waited a long time to buy a large griddle pan like this - mostly because I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for! I am so glad I waited because this pan just fit the bill! I have a ceramic type cooktop with radiant burners - and one side has the two burners with the "bridge" burner. My first task was frying up eggplant for a stew - and I was able to get two whole eggplants sliced up and cooking on this griddle. The entire griddle was hot, the pan is hefty enough that nothing burned and clean up was easy! I would definitely recommend paying the price to get this quality griddle!

I found this pan on clearance at Bed+Bath, I used my 20% off coupon, (not suppose to on All Clad but it went thru) so, I got it for $40! MY Best buy!
I began using it for diced potatoes tossed with olive oil and salt+pepper. It became our "go to" side dish for chicken, pork chops, etc; The brown marks on the potatoes is nice! They are crispy and delish.
I use it for anything that I put into the oven that won't put off a lot of liquid. The lip is there to keep food in, but if the lip was 1/2" taller, I would be super happy. I've never lost any food over the side.
I love the tall handles, easy to get oven mittens around handles.
This is one of my favorite pans. You won't be disappointed!
